American Idol

As you can see from the side bar, I am an American Idol fan. I've been hooked on the show since half way through the first season. I predicted that Kelly Clarkson would be in the finale, but I thought that Tamyra Gray would win...I was close. The second year I predicted that Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard would be in the finale and either one could win...I was right! I accurately predicted the winners of season 3 and 4 (Fansasia and Carrie Underwood). Season 5 I predicted that Katherine McPhee would win...I was wrong but she was in the finale. In season 6 I made a very early prediction that Blake Lewis and Jordin Sparks would be in the finale and that Jordin would win. I was right! I have a very good track record with predicting winners so stay tuned. Once the competition is down to the top 12, I will start making my predictions, right here on shmausblogging. For now I will keep a list of my favorites, two boys and two girls.

Other American Idol stuff...we have an e-mail circulating around about the physical similarites between my niece Lisa and Danny Noriega. This weekend I will try to post pix of them side by side and let everyone decide...are they twins separated at birth?
