I think no one's commenting because it's such a HARD question. It's one thing to spout off at book club--it's another to write it down. I'd like to have been with the shepherds in the fields when the angels came and announced that the Messiah had been born. Awesome! The sound of angels singing, their praising God . . . sigh. Yes, I do believe this is an historical event.
Actually I was referring to my Iowa friends who always have an opinion about everything!!!! I must have stumped them on this one! I like your answer...
