Yesterday morning, Dennis' Grandmother, Stella passed away at the ripe old age of 103. She was actually about a week away from 104!
Although her death was expected, it is still bittersweet. There have been a flurry of e-mails back and forth between the grandchildren and great-grandchildren with memories of Grandma. Most of the memories had a food theme, most of them regarding sugar cookies.
I have only had the privilege to have known Stella for 12 years, but her family has a lifetime of memories and I look forward to learning more about her over this next week and at the funeral on April 4th.
Rest in Peace Stella.

Sorry to hear about Grandma Stella. When I have heard about her it always sounds like she was a family icon. Let everyone know we are thinking of your family during this time and hope the memories of her bring you happiness.
