Common names, Kristy Lee, and my pooches...

Looking at the top 5 list for today and the common last names of Americans...I know someone with every name on the list! I went to school with a Williams and there is a Williams here that sends me data for my cases, I had classmates in high school that were Jones and Johnsons and Smiths and Browns...and I bet if I think hard enough there are people that I interact on a daily basis that have these common names.

Kristy Lee is finally gone from American Idol...we've only been contemplating her kick-off for weeks but when it finally happened I felt really bad for her! What guts she had to sing her final farewell song while practically sitting on Simon's lap! I hope she gets her horse back...

And finally I must share some sad news about my pooches...they have both had trips to the vet this last week. Maggie had a seizure two weeks ago and has been diagnosed with epilepsy! We are going to watch her for now and if she has increasing frequency of seizures we will start meds. This was her first grand mal seizure...I believe she has had mini seizures in the past. This one was scary...Dennis and I both thought we were losing her.

Dakota had his routine spring check up (heart worm, lymes etc prior to new supply of frontline and heartgard) and we found out he has Lymes disease and anaplasmosis! What the heck? He's been acting fine, but we will give him 28 days of antibiotics. He's had some tick bites in the past...obviously one of them gave him Lymes...

The Maurers are spending their tax refund and economic stimulus checks on veterinarian costs...
