Idol results and the re-naming of my blog...

Well I am relieved that my Brooke and my Jason are safe for another week, but I am honestly shocked that it is Michael Johns that is going home. I wasn't a fan but I really thought he'd stick around longer than this! I wonder if it has to do with the fact that he is the oldest...or that he isn't originally from America? If that is it then Carly will be going soon also.

I was reading today that Brooke actually released an album in 2005 called Songs From The Attic. I am going to try to find it.

As far as re-naming my blog I am leaning along the lines of taking the name of a book and inserting the word BLOG somewhere...(Thanks Kristi) I started out thinking of A BLOG WITH A VIEW...because as some of my friends know, I love to voice my opinion :-)...but after thinking about it I realize that putting my opinion out there is not really the direction this blog is taking. I really don't have a theme going on I just post about whatever comes to mind. In thinking along those lines I started thinking about how I approach this blog. How do I come up with a topic to post about? Basically I think first about whether there is something I want to say...then I try to decide whether I think anyone cares about it or not. I don't actually dwell on whether anyone is going to care about the topic because there isn't really any way to gauge that. If interest is based on comments then that would tell me that no one is interested...but if I look at how many visits/hits there are, then I'd say at least the blog is being looked at. I've learned also in surfing others blogs that there are alot of topics out there that are very interesting to read about but I don't always have a comment for. Anyway now I'm veering way off and this post is becoming long...ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BLOG is the title I'm leaning toward for many reasons...but mostly because of the mostly dual nature of blogging...is it for me or for others?
