Hiding from others...

This was my horoscope for today:
Why hide what you have to offer from others? Being shy and coy can be cute, but these aren't effective tactics for showing the world what you can offer -- especially if you are looking to create a romantic connection. So today, you need to take a bigger risk -- reveal your inner thoughts and ideas and you won't be disappointed. You are a lot more intriguing than you realize. Providing a clue towards solving the mystery will attract a lot of people to you.

The first sentence caught my attention, and so I read on. I am a shy person. I don't try to be shy, it's not an act that I put on in order to be "cute" or "coy," it''s who I am. I don't easily strike up conversations with people I don't know. I don't divulge personal aspects of myself to others until I trust them.

Granted, I'm not looking to strike up a romance, nor am I wanting to attract alot of people to me, but I think there is some truth to "you are a lot more intriguing than you realize."

So...what inner thoughts should I reveal tonight? Hmmm...okay just off the top of my head I will reveal that I am extremely nervous about our economy and Bush's rescue plan scares the crap out of me.

Okay that is just commentary, not a deep inner thought....let me dig a bit deeper.

Here goes: I'm afraid of "old age" and I'm even more afraid of ending up in a nursing home.
