I was attacked by the uglies sometime during the night Friday night. I was dragging all day Friday. I just couldn't muster any energy. After work I did a light workout at the gym, Dennis and I had dinner at Olive Garden, and I was in bed by 9 pm! I slept hard all night and awoke at 7 feeling like I'd been run over by a truck(semi tractor variety not a Chevy or Ford). I looked in the mirror and I had black (not blue) circles under my eyes and zits all over my face. How does that happen? Who can I blame it on? I forced myself to workout again Saturday morning and then spent all day Saturday looking like something the cat drug in...something dead. My skin was pale (any Texas "sun" that I did have is gone now), and those zits just stood out like raisins. Saturday night we had my sister in law and Nieces over for pizza and I had some wine but I just didn't feel well. Sunday I felt crappy all day. We had the shower for my niece...I look at the pictures and I just look terrible.
And...I'm not done yet...I looked and felt crappy all day today. After work tonight I had a 30 minute massage. For an hour after the massage I felt like someone had drugged me but amazingly now I feel better than I have since Thursday!
What happens in our bodies to make us look and feel so bad? Why are there some days that our skin just looks awful and other days we glow? Is it hormones? Diet? attitude? amount of sleep? Is it that sometimes all we really need to to is to give ourselves something? Even if it's just a half hour massage?
Hmmmmm.....
A time for change….

What a fabulous blog! I think maybe the most beautiful I have ever seen. I'll bookmark it for sure. Wish I was so talented. I can type, and sometimes copy and paste successfully, but beyond that, I'm lost. Loved the Bookish section as I am also an avid reader. Your reading seems less "junky"than mine, though I love anything Austen, or Dickens. No big bookstores in our small city, and only a smallish library but can order anything from the numerous Fraser Valley library branches, if you know what you're looking for. I may borrow from you list! See you on Dietwatch.

Wackygal--glad you found me! You should check out Shelfari.com for book ideas also! I had my bookshelf on my blog but took it off in my clean-up efforts...it will get back on there one of these days!
