American Idol top 4

Woops...I almost forgot to blog about idol tonight! What a busy night rushing around trying to get stuff done...almost no time to even watch it...but I did!

Tonight was rock night...the mentor was Slash, of whom I'm not really a fan. I'm a fan of rock though and tonight was cool!

1. Adam-sang Whole Lotta Love--and as usual he did an awesome job...he really does Rock well but I'm convinced he could sing any genre.

2. Allison-sang Crybaby--which I thought was a good choice for her voice. I think the band was too loud and ended up drowning out her vocals in places.

3. Kris-- Come Together--I didn't think this was the best song choice for him but he did okay with it, I liked it when he went into his lower register, he doesn't do that very often. He seemed upset and defeated. He acted like he's already given up and I hate to see that.

4. Danny- sang Dream On--this wasn't the best song choice for him either. He did okay but that scream at the end was a bit wierd.

The coolest part of the evening was that they did duets with each other rather than singing two songs individually.

Danny/Kris=sang Renegade. I think it was a good choice of song and they sang well together. I agreed with the judges that they sounded better together than individually.

Adam/Allison=sang Slow Ride. Talk about a perfect couple...they sing perfect together and they look like brother and sister....and together their vocals were awesome...much better duet than Danny and Kris.

I'm not voting tonight because I just don't want to make a choice. I think Kris is in danger and I'm leaning back towards thinking the finale could be Adam and Allison...or Adam and Danny.
